PRIVACY
Your choices stay private.
This policy explains what stays on your iPhone, what the PRSNT website stores and what participating venues can receive.
The iPhone app
Your lists, app and website selections, schedules, saved places and NFC tag settings stay on your device. PRSNT does not require an account or upload those settings to our servers. Apple's Screen Time controls pause the apps and websites you select.
If you add a place, iOS monitors arrival and departure. PRSNT uses that information on your device to ask whether to start a list and to end its place-triggered session when you leave. The arrival prompt is a local notification; PRSNT does not send push notifications. You can remove a place or change its permissions in iPhone Settings.
A tag programmed by PRSNT contains a random link identifier, not your list name or selected apps. If that link opens the website, its request reaches our Cloudflare-hosted site and may appear in service logs. Removing the tag from its list in the app revokes the link.
Shared focus invitations
When you create a shared focus invitation, we store its random link token, session title and scheduled end time with Cloudflare. Anyone with that link or QR code can see the title and end time until the session ends. We do not store the apps someone chooses to pause, their list settings or their device information. Expired invitation records are removed daily.
To protect the invitation service from abuse, we derive a pseudonymous daily rate-limit key from Cloudflare's connecting IP address using a secret-keyed hash. We do not store the raw IP address. The key becomes eligible for deletion after 48 hours and is removed at the next daily cleanup, within about 72 hours. We do not use this key for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Venue sessions
When you join a participating venue session, PRSNT may send anonymous session records to count starts, completions and completed session time. These records include the venue moment, chosen duration, session timing and temporary event-specific codes. They do not include your name, email address, device identifier, app names, app count or Screen Time activity.
Venues receive combined totals only when enough people take part. They do not receive individual session records. Raw session records and temporary codes are deleted within 30 days after the reporting period closes.
The website and waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and any name you provide to send occasional PRSNT updates. Current signups are stored with Cloudflare; some earlier signups remain with EmailOctopus during migration. We do not sell your details or use advertising trackers.
Venue pilot enquiries
If you apply for a venue pilot, we store your name, work email, venue, venue type and city with Cloudflare. We use those details only to assess the enquiry, reply to you and, if agreed, arrange the pilot. We do not sell them or use them for advertising.
Your choice
You can edit or delete lists, places and tag bindings in the app. To access or remove your waitlist or venue-enquiry details, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm the email address before acting.
